Waterproofing
Basements and cellars are often at higher risk of water penetration and flooding. There are two main methods of Basement Waterproofing that can be implemented and their usage is dependant on the requirements of the area affected and the property’s individual needs.
1. Installation of a cavity drainage membrane system to re-direct water away from the affected area via either a sump pump system or existing drainage.
2. The application of a multi-coat waterproofing system using either cement based or epoxy based coatings to provide impermeable protection to the area.
The application of a multi- coat waterproofing system using either cement based of epoxy based coatings to provide impermeable protection to the area. This system is a specialist waterproofing render / multicoat slurry that can withstand the external water pressure in a basement. Once installed it maintains a dry environment by creating a physical barrier to water entering the basement area. |
