Flood Defences and Systems
CRB Construction can provide and install flood defences in the form of flood defendable barriers. In many high risk areas you may only be able to get insurance for your property if it has a recognised flood prevention device. In lower risk areas you may qualify for lower insurance premiums with such a system installed.
Flood barrier systems can be made to suit properties large or small and all openings can be protected. We can also produce a detailed specification of flood protection for your design, including flood defences, redirection of flows, bunds and dependable barriers.

The Flood Shield Door Barrier System
The flood barrier shield is CRBs answer for residential builders to help protect doors and household contents from water ingress in flood prone areas.When water from heavy rain a cumulates on porches or patios, this easy to install, removable barrier effectivley blocks up to a foot or more of flood waters from permeating door openings.
The flood shield is available in heights of 10, 20, 24, 30 and 36 inches. (other sizes available upon request). No tools or muscle strength is needed to insert the lightweight aluminium sheild into premounted channels attached to either the door frame or adjacent walls.
